Patrick McDowell takes up new sustainability creative role at Pinko
Sustainable fashion designer Patrick McDowell has announced that he has been appointed as sustainability creative director at Pinko.
McDowell launched his eponymous label in 2018 but also worked as sustainability role with Pinko for three years from December 2020.
In his new position, he will be working across main Pinko collections and named Patrick McDowell collaborations to implement a new design vision and sustainable circular practice.
In a post on LinkedIn, McDowell said he would be continuing his journey with Pinko whilst running his own label.
He added: “Gaining invaluable experience in big business and implementing sustainable design lead product to a network of hundreds of stores globally.
“I feel lucky to be able to create one off bespoke pieces at my own brand and tackle sustainability in a bigger way with Pinko.”
Earlier in his career, McDowell worked as a womenswear designer at Burberry.
