OG Kicks to open first London store
OG Kicks has chosen the Carnaby shopping district for the opening of its first London store.
Due to launch in May in Foubert’s Place, the shop will stock a range of limited-edition sold-out sneakers whilst offering an easy buy, sell and trade experience for sneakerheads and footwear fashion enthusiasts.
Spanning 1,564 square feet, the store has a sleek and modern interior that has been designed to showcase after-market sneakers from the likes of Jordan, Yeezy, Nike, New Balance and Adidas together with very near dead-stock. The average price will be £220.
Andrew Price, executive director at Shaftesbury Capital said: “We are delighted for OG Kicks to open their first London store in Carnaby. Offering a wide range of limited-edition sold-out sneakers as well as streetwear, the new store will be a great fit alongside the existing streetwear line up on Foubert’s Place including Adidas Originals, Size?, NBA and the forthcoming Hollister store.”
Launched in 2016 by Ryan Jackson, the company’s 23 year old chief executive, OG Kicks also has a store in Brighton.
Jackson said: “We’re very excited to be opening in Foubert’s Place, Carnaby. We have finally found the perfect location for our London store. We’ve worked hard to create a brand that truly reflects our love of sneakers, the culture, and the community that comes with it. We can’t wait to welcome customers to OGK and share our passion with them.”
