Oasis and Warehouse Group acquires The Idle Man
The Oasis and Warehouse Group has acquired online menswear retailer The Idle Man for an undisclosed sum.
Launched in 2014 by former Asos buyer Oliver Tezcan, The Idle Man offers clothing ranges from the likes of Barbour and Carhartt, as well as own brand products under three labels covering the premium, fashion and basic categories.
The purchase has enabled the Oasis and Warehouse Group to enter the menswear market and extend its online offering. In addition, The Idle Man will benefit from the group’s infrastructure and well established supply chain operations.
Tezcan will continue to head up the business and will report to Oasis and Warehouse chief executive Hash Ladha.
Ladha said The Idle Man’s team will bring invaluable experience to the group. He added: “This is an exciting acquisition for us. We can bring to scale The Idle Man’s proposition and the brand allows us to tap into the growing demand for fashionable menswear through a credible and well-established brand”
