Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter to launch enhanced personal shopping services for top customers

Premium online fashion retailers Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter are to enhance their personal shopping services for top customers by introducing a new try-on and wait delivery service and at-home shopping consultations.

The “You try, we wait” same-day delivery service will launch in London in September, followed by New York and Hong Kong before the end of the year.

Top customers will be able to request the service through their personal shopper on any same-day order. Once their shopping arrives at their home, they will be able to try on garments while the courier waits so that anything to be returned can be collected immediately.

In addition, the brands are launching “Net-a-Porter at Home” and “Mr Porter at Home,” a series of one-on-one consultations also available on request through Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter personal shoppers. Following the consultations, cuustomers will receive a curated selection of products and will be invoiced only for the items they choose to keep. The service will be offered to top customers in London, New York, Hong Kong and Los Angeles from September.

Alison Loehnis, president of Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter, said: “Through our network of personal shoppers, we are thrilled to be offering these new best-in-class services to our most engaged and loyal customers around the world. We are committed to harnessing innovation to elevate the shopping experience, and ultimately seek to use a personalised touch to make the lives of our customers easier.”
