Neil McCausland to step down as Joules chairman
Joules, the lifestyle clothing brand, has said that Neil McCausland is to step down from his chairman role at the end of July.
He will be succeeded on 1 August by DFS chief executive Ian Filby who is retiring from that role in October.
Colin Porter, Joules chief executive, said: “Neil has made a fantastic contribution to Joules’ development. He leaves the business in great health and with multiple growth opportunities ahead. On behalf of everyone at Joules, we wish Neil the best for the future.
“Ian is a highly respected retail executive and I am delighted that he has chosen to join Joules. I am certain that his experience and knowledge will be invaluable during the next exciting phases of the Joules’ expansion.”
Joules has credited McCausland with overseeing a period of significant growth and development since he joined the business in 2013. This has included the brand’s expansion across channels and into new international markets as well its successful IPO in 2016.
