N Brown appoints new general manager for Simply Be

N Brown has appointed Heidi Kenyon-Smith as the new general manager of its strategic fashion brand Simply Be as it continues its group-wide transformation.

Possessing significant digital, womenswear and media expertise, Kenyon-Smith was previously managing director of the Dentsu media agency, iProspect. Her experience has also included stints at Carat Manchester, Redcats, Hearst Magazines, and Centaur Media.

In her new role, she will be responsible for the delivery of strategic, commercial, and service-led customer outcomes for Simply Be, including the end-to-end shopping experience, financial performance and accelerating sales growth.

Due to join the business on 2 January, Kenyon-Smith will report directly to N Brown’s chief executive of retail, Sarah Welsh.

Commenting on the appointment, Welsh said: “Heidi joins with a great deal of passion to deliver the evolution of Simply Be across all digital, brand and product touchpoints as we execute our ambition to become the UK’s most inclusive fashion brand for young women.

“Heidi’s digital, product and media experience will no doubt provide instant value and adds to the talent joining the group during our transformation.”
