N Brown announces appointment of Dene Jones as CEO of Retail
N Brown Group plc, the inclusive fashion and homeware digital retail platform, has announced the appointment of Dene Jones as the Group’s new CEO of Retail.
Dene will succeed Sarah Welsh, who confirmed her decision last year to leave the Group after five years in the role.
Dene will commence his new role on 1 February 2025, leading N Brown’s Retail domain and driving the continued evolution of a distinct brand proposition and unique product offering for customers across the Group’s retail brands.
In addition to leading the Product, Trade, and Marketing functions, Dene will also oversee the Data Analytics and Data Visualisation teams. This expanded remit ensures clear accountability for the Group’s commercial activity and performance while fostering stronger alignment between the Retail and Financial Services domains.

Most recently, he served as Group Chief Marketing and Data Officer at Constellation Automotive Group, Europe’s largest digital car marketplace, which owns brands such as WeBuyAnyCar and Cinch. He also held the position of CEO of one of Constellation’s European businesses. Prior to this, he held senior roles within The Very Group and Flutter Entertainment plc.
Dene will join the N Brown Executive Board, reporting directly to Interim Chair and Group CEO, Steve Johnson.
