Myrqvist opens first shop outside of Sweden in London’s Jermyn Street

Swedish footwear brand Myrqvist has opened its first international store on London’s Jermyn Street.

Designed by Swedish interior designer Astrid Lindén, the 1,069 square foot boutique in the menswear district stocks the brand’s full range of footwear and accessories, and also offers its made-to-order service.

The store features a contemporary, Scandinavian aesthetic with leather detailing sourced from the same tanneries used for the brand’s shoes.

Recognised by Habit as Sweden’s fastest-growing footwear brand, Myrqvist said the London store opening will cement its position as “an international leader in premium, timeliness and long-lasting footwear”.

Sebastian Öhrn, Myrqvist founder, added: “In the summer of 2017, I left the UK after nearly five years of studies to pursue my dream of creating Myrqvist. I always knew I would return and bring  with me.

“Today, I am thrilled to announce that we are opening our very first store outside of Sweden.”
