Mulberry hires Charles Anderson as group finance director
Luxury brand Mulberry has appointed Charles Anderson as group finance director.
Due to take up the role in early October, Anderson will succeed Neil Ritchie who stepped down from the Mulberry board on 30 June.
With over 20 years’ experience as a finance professional, Anderson previously spent 17 years at Ted Baker where his most recent role was finance director of the group’s subsidiaries. During his time there, he oversaw the global finance function and also played an active role in expanding the company internationally. He also oversaw Mulberry’s investor relations programme and assumed the role of company secretary.
Prior to joining Ted Baker, Anderson held various finance positions at House of Fraser, NatWest Markets and Carpetright.
Thierry Andretta, Mulberry’s chief executive, said: “We are delighted to welcome Charles to the Mulberry team. His experience of developing and overseeing a global finance function during a period of international expansion will be relevant as we grow Mulberry worldwide.”
