Monica Vinader expands into US with New York store
Jewellery brand Monica Vinader has opened its first US boutique in New York’s Soho.
The 1,600 square foot boutique in Spring Street was designed by Vinader herself and the same team of architects that developed the brand’s other international stores.
The store combines both a shopping and seating area featuring mid-century furniture upholstered in Yves Klein blue velvet and an Italian 1950s Stilnovo chandelier. A piece of contemporary photography by Harry Cory-wright, from Vinader’s personal collection, dominates the back of the store.
Vinader said: “This store really feels like my first home in New York. I have combined our distinctive jewellery cabinets with my collection of mid-century and modern furniture and lighting, keeping all the details of this gorgeous Soho space, allowing it to shine.”
To celebrate the launch of the store, the brand has released an exclusive global pre-launch of its Linear Round Bead bracelet.
