Master Debonair expands north east store
Menswear retailer Master Debonair is expanding its flagship store in the north east into a three-floor shopping experience.
The retailer has acquired the building adjacent to its current store in East Boldon as it looks to create what it describes as the ultimate gentleman’s showroom.
Due to open next month, the store will stock an extended Master Debonair own brand range as well as three-piece suits, overcoats, footwear and accessories.
Master Debonair has recently opened a new store in London’s Spitalfields shopping district at 49 Commercial Street. It has also launched a new website to boost online sales.
Founded by husband and wife team Simon and Eve Whitaker three years ago, Master Debonair now employs 30 people across two stores and a head office.
Eve Whitaker said: “Work is well underway at our East Boldon store after acquiring the property next door. Our new showroom is set to be the ultimate man cave and will offer a completely brand new in-store experience for our customers. We have lots of ideas in the pipeline, with more to be revealed over the coming weeks.”
