Mango teams up with Macy’s for US expansion

Spanish fashion retailer Mango is to partner with the Macy’s department store as it looks to expand in the US.

According to the MDS business journal, Mango clothing will be available at three Macy’s locations in New York. These will include Staten Island, Roosevelt Field and Herald Square.

At present, Mango clothing is sold in the US through ecommerce sites, some physical stores and via Lord & Taylor.

It previously had 450 concessions in  JC Penney stores but these were closed in 2015.

If successful, the Macy’s partnership could be extended to other states in the US.
