Mango opens first store in Texas

Mango is continuing its expansion in the US with the opening of its first store in Texas.

Situated in the Memorial City Mall in West Houston, the shop spans more than 350 square metres and has been designed according to the retailer’s Mediterranean style, New Med concept. This features warm tones and neutral colours combined with traditional, handmade, sustainable and natural materials, such as ceramics, tuff, wood, marble, esparto and leather.

Mango plans to open around 15  new stores in the US in 2023, mostly in the west and south of the country. The retailer will continue to expand its presence in Texas with the opening of another six stores in shopping centres. It will also launch shops in Georgia and California.

Daniel Lopez, Mango’s director of expansion and franchising, said: “After the excellent reception of Mango in New York and Miami, we are very excited to bring the brand’s experience in a physical space to Texas for the first time, where we have an ambitious development plan for the coming months in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and McAllen.”
