Mango creates brand management division as it appoints Blanca Muñiz as chief brand officer

Mango has created a new brand management division to strengthen the leadership of its image, brand and customer experience.

This has included the appointment of Blanca Muñiz who will join the company as chief brand officer.

Led by Muñiz, the new division will be responsible for Mango’s image, communication, brand and customer experience. Reporting directly to Mango chief executive Toni Ruiz,  Muñiz will also promote strategic collaborations with key players in the fashion sector.

Ruiz said: “We are very happy and excited about the appointment of Blanca Muñiz as the new chief brand officer and member of the company’s steering committee.

“I am convinced that Blanca will help us promote the new 2024-2026 ztrategic plan, which will focus on strengthening our differentiated value proposition.

“We want to get closer to our customers by offering them the best shopping experience to consolidate our position as one of the leading fashion groups.”

Muñiz has more than 25 years experience in the marketing field and has spent much of her career at Puig where her most recent role was senior vice president for lifestyle brands. She has also held marketing positions at Coty, Bimbo and Danone.
