Mango continues US expansion with new store opening in Washington DC
Mango has strengthened its presence in the US with the opening of a new store in the city of Washington DC.
The move follows the launch of shops in New York, Florida, Texas, Georgia, California, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.
Situated in the heart of downtown at 950F Street, it is the Spanish fashion brand’s fourth store in the capital region after it launched in Westfield Montgomery, Tysons Corners Center and Pentagon City earlier this year.
The new space offers products from Mango’s lines for women and is the first in the area to stock its menswear collection.
Mango is aiming to have a total of 40 company owned stores in the US by the end of this year and for the country to become one of its top three markets in terms of revenue in 2026 through physical store and ecommerce sales. It first entered the US in 2006 but began implementing an ambitious expansion plan in 2022.
The brand has also launched its Mango Likes You loyalty programme in the country, which aims to create closer ties with its customers through experiences related to the brand’s values of sustainability, culture and community.
