Mango boosts UK presence with 3 new stores
Mango is ramping up its presence in the UK with the opening of three major new stores this Autumn.
The fashion retailer has just opened at Bluewater in Kent, as well as being about to debut at Battersea Power Station, and has plans to open in Newcastle next month.
Global Expansion Director Daniel Lopez said: “The opening of these three stores is part of the expansion plan we are promoting to consolidate our brand in the country and a step forward in our strategic goals for international expansion and our distribution ecosystem. The United Kingdom is a key market for Mango and one of the most important for the fashion industry in the world, and we want Mango to have a significant presence in it.”
The openings bring Mango’s total to almost 50 UK stores by the end of 2022, combining its physical presence in shopping centres with standalone stores and corners in department stores.
Mango has been in the UK since 1998 and last year strengthened its presence in the country with the opening of a new flagship on London’s Oxford Street, and three other stores in Manchester, Edinburgh and Derby.
