Mango achieves 2024 US expansion goals ahead of schedule
Mango has achieved its goal of having 40 company owned stores in the US by the end of 2024 ahead of schedule.
In fact, the fashion retailer will have a total of 42 stores open at the end of the year.
It will also continue to expand in the country in 2025 with the launch of 20 new shops in cities like Seattle, Chicago and Las Vegas.
Over the last few years, Mango has created over 600 new jobs in the US and plans to double its current workforce to more than 1,200 employees by 2025. Between 2024 and 2025, Mango will invest more than $70 million in the country.
Currently one of Mango’s five main markets, the company is aiming for the US to be in its top three in terms of turnover by the end of 2026.
Daniel López, Mango’s director of expansion and franchising, said: “This achievement represents a moment of pride for the entire Mango team and reaffirms our deep commitment to the US market, a fundamental pillar in our global strategy.
“Reaching 40 owned stores is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our employees, as well as the positive reception of our differential value proposition by our customers in the US , a key market for us that is experiencing double digit growth.”
