Lucy & Yak to open ninth UK store

Lucy & Yak, the socially and environmentally conscious fashion brand, is to open its ninth UK store in Exeter.

Situated on the city’s high street, the signature pink-painted shop will open its doors to customers on 28 June.

The news follows the successful launches of stores in Bristol, Norwich, Nottingham, Cambridge, Manchester and Cardiff, as well as the brand’s flagship shop in Brighton’s North Laine. Lucy & Yak has also recently opened a sustainability flagship in The Lanes in Brighton.

In addition to selling the brand’s range of clothing, each shop aims to act as a ‘Re:Yak’ hub where customers can access a buyback scheme and services to recycle, repair and upcycle their clothes.

Lucy Greenwood, co-founder of Lucy & Yak, said: “We’re so excited to announce the opening of our next shop, in Exeter, our most southerly shop to date.

“The new space will be another hub for creativity and community, giving us a chance to engage with our customers in person.

“I’ve personally spent a lot of time in Devon, exploring its coastline and hope this opens up further opportunities in the southwest.”
