Lucy & Yak teams up with Tan Zi Xi for a limited edition collection supporting ocean conservation
Socially and environmentally conscious lifestyle brand Lucy & Yak has announced the launch of its limited edition collection, ‘Turning The Tide’, in collaboration with artist Tan Zi Xi, with 100% of the profits going to support Surfers Against Sewage.
Founded 35 years ago to address the state of our coastlines, Surfers Against Sewage is a campaigning charity made up of water lovers dedicated to protecting the ocean and all it makes possible. Their work spans grassroots action to systemic change, from beach clean-ups to influencing policy at the highest levels. Through innovative and ambitious campaigning and education programmes, they are building a passionate community that cares deeply about the planet, the ocean, and the transformative power of collective action. Their efforts tackle critical environmental challenges, including sewage and plastic pollution, ocean recovery, and the climate crisis.
Lucy & Yak’s ‘Turning The Tide’ collection features dungarees and trousers crafted from organic materials, each adorned with unique and distinctive prints designed by artist Tan Zi Xi. Known for her ability to push beyond the decorative into the narrative, Zi Xi’s work often explores themes close to her heart, offering acute commentary on broader social issues. This collection celebrates the beauty and magic of our seas and waterways while highlighting the urgent need to protect them.
The collection will be available online through Lucy & Yak’s website and in Lucy & Yak stores. All profits will be donated to Surfers Against Sewage, supporting their ongoing mission to safeguard the health of our oceans and waterways.
