Lucy & Yak launches limited edition charity products to challenge Black Friday
Lucy & Yak, the socially and environmentally conscious fashion brand, is to launch a limited edition range of products to celebrate its relationship with long-time charity partner the Fior Di Loto Foundation.
Designed to challenge Black Friday, the move will raise funds for the charity’s work in providing life-changing education and improving the living conditions for over 700 girls in the villages surrounding Pushkar, Rajasthan, in Northwest India, the area where some of the brand’s first clothing was made.
The foundation supports girls from primary school level through to university and beyond.
The six-piece collection will be available from 25 November and will include dungarees, trousers, tees and bags. All of the products have been made from organic materials and feature unique prints by artists from India, including Chaaya Prabhat, Namrata Kumar and Rohan Dahotre.
Lucy & Yak will be donating 50% of profits from the products to the Fior Di Loto Foundation. It will also be donating half of all profits to the charity during the Black Friday sales period from 25 November to 3 December.
