Lucy & Yak chooses Canterbury for 11th UK store

Lucy & Yak, the socially and environmentally conscious lifestyle clothing brand, is to open its 11th UK store in Canterbury later this month.

Situated in the high street, Lucy & Yak’s signature pink-painted store will welcome its first customers on Friday 25 October.

The opening follows the successful launches of new shops in Bristol, Norwich, Nottingham, Cambridge, Manchester, Cardiff and Exeter, as well as the brand’s first outlet in Castleford. Lucy & Yak also operates a flagship store in North Laine in Brighton and a recently launched sustainability flagship store in the city’s The Lanes.

In addition to showcasing Lucy & Yak’s range of clothing, each store acts as a pre-loved hub which offers the brand’s buyback scheme. and enables customers to recycle, repair or upcycle their clothes.

Lucy Greenwood, co-founder of Lucy & Yak, said: “We’re so excited to finally announce the launch date for our 11th shop in Canterbury.

“The new space will be another hub for creativity and community, giving us a chance to engage with our customers in person- we’ve absolutely loved meeting you all.

“We plan to continue building our Re:Yak buyback scheme as well as offering a space for meet ups with our core community- watch this space.”
