Lovisa to join line-up at Intu Potteries

Fashion jewellery brand Lovisa is to open a new store at Intu Potteries in Stoke-on-Trent.

The store will be the brand’s sixth store in the Intu portfolio.

The 949 square foot shop will open in November. Lovisa is also planning to launch stores later this year at Intu Eldon Square and Intu Watford.

Peter Barker, property director at Lovisa, said: “Situated between Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool, Intu Potteries is the ideal location for our next store opening. Our stores have proved popular amongst Intu customers and our brand will take the fashion accessory market in the UK to a new realm.”

Intu Potteries opened a £20 million leisure development in December 2015 that includes a new Cineworld cinema. In addition, H&M, JD Sports and Pandora have all invested in enhancing their presence at the centre by upsizing or relocating.

Colin Flinn, regional managing director at Intu, said: “Lovisa is a great example of how an international brand is working with Intu to expand its presence across the UK market, rapidly becoming a household name. Intu Potteries attracts over 13 million loyal customers every year and, now with its increased leisure offer, we’re seeing customers travelling from further and staying for longer, helping all our tenants to flourish. We look forward to Lovisa opening later this year.”
