Lounge Underwear selects Manchester Arndale for newest location

Lounge Underwear is continuing its expansion with the opening of a new store at Manchester Arndale.

Spanning 2,746 square feet, the shop will be the brand’s fifth UK location and will stock its range of underwear and high quality swimwear, as well as a wide selection of t-shirts, hoodies, leggings, shorts, loungewear, dressing gowns, and accessories.

Manchester Arndale has recently added Nike, The North Face, Moss, and Dune to its line-up.

Meanwhile, River Island has committed to its future at the centre by taking an additional 3,686 square feet of space to occupy a 22,415 square foot unit after signing a new long-term lease.

Steve Gray, head of European retail asset management at Global Mutual, said: “It is great testament to Manchester Arndale’s appeal that Lounge has selected it for its newest store, and comes off the back of a series of high-profile lettings at the centre in recent months.

“We are continuing to grow the amount of fashion brands at Manchester Arndale as we look to cement the centre’s place as the North West’s go-to fashion destination, and we look forward to announcing more exciting arrivals over the next few weeks.”
