Lindex names new chief executive
Fashion retailer Lindex has appointed Susanne Ehnbåge as its new chief executive.
Ehnbåge has been working with Scandinavian home electronics retailer NetOnNet Group since 2003 where she is now the company’s chief executive.
Due to take up her new role in August, she will report to Lauri Veijalainen, Lindex chairman and Stockmann’s chief executive, and will also be a member of the Stockmann management team.
Veijalainen said: “I am confident that we have found a skilful leader with very strong retail, e-commerce and turnaround competence, which we need in order to respond to the rapid changes in the fashion market. Susanne Ehnbåge is very energetic and result driven. She has experience in an industry which has changed fast and is being continuously challenged by new ecommerce players and digitalisation,”
Elisabeth Peregi will continue in her role as interim chief executive of Lindex until Ehnbåge takes up her role.
