Libre London opens pop-up store at The Yards, Covent Garden
Libre London, the online retailer specialising in women’s fashion and vegan beauty, has opened a pop-up store at The Yards, Covent Garden.
The 2,000 square foot space at 138 Long Acre is the brand’s first physical store. Stocking a range of women’s clothing and accessories, as well as vegan makeup and skincare, the pop-up will remain open until the end of June.
Beril Zehra Usta, director at Libre London, said: “We have achieved so much since launching Libre London two years ago and we are now ready to take that next step and trial our first physical space. The Yards is a prominent location in an established area of the capital, and with our forward-thinking approach to fashion and the close-knit community we have been able to build with our consumers, this space matches our vision perfectly.”
The opening follows a recent pop-up by Odd Muse which ran throughout March at The Yards. The area has also recently welcomed nail care brand Townhouse to Slingsby Place.
Speaking on behalf of Longmartin Properties, Abi Labbett, senior director at CBRE, said: “It is great to be adding another retail element to The Yards. Libre London adds something unique, specialising in not just fashion, but beauty and skincare too, and given the success of its online platform, there is no doubt that it will be able to continue this positive trajectory into bricks-and-mortar.
“As The Yards nears letting completion, pop-ups like Libre London allow us to be flexible and trial new, innovative concepts, and we’re pleased to see the excitement around Libre London’s first space.”
