Lacoste appoints deputy chief executive

Lacoste has promoted Catherine Spindler to the role of deputy chief executive.

Spindler began her career at LVMH owned Guerlain then moved to Rocher Group where she held various communication and marketing positions. In 2008, she continued her development within the group and became vice-president of the Dr Pierre Ricaud brand. Shen then joined the Veepee Group as chief marketing officer before being appointed as France managing director and vice-president group customer experience. In 2019, she joined the executive committee of Lacoste and became chief brand officer.

Thierry Guibert, chief executive of Lacoste, said: ‘Catherine Spindler’s appointment comes after three years spent at the service of the brand, which have enabled us to breathe new life into the collections, to increase its desirability and its global influence, and to raise our CSR requirements and commitments even higher.

“I am happy to be able to count on Catherine at my side to continue Lacoste’s development and support its ambition to become the most inspiring brand in fashion-sport.”
