Kering appoints chief financial officer
Luxury group Kering has appointed Armelle Poulou as chief financial officer.
Having joined the group in 2019, Poulou is currently the group’s director of corporate finance, treasury, and insurance. She will take up her new role on 1 September. However, she will continue reporting to Jean-Marc Duplaix who has recently been promoted to the position of deputy chief executive with responsibility for operations and finance.
A graduate of HEC Business School, Poulou previously worked in senior finance roles at EDF, and also worked with Procter & Gamble and Hewlett-Packard.
Kering’s fashion, leather goods and jewellery brands include Gucci, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Brioni, Boucheron, Pomellato, DoDo, Qeelin, Ginori 1735, as well as Kering Eyewear and Kering Beauté.
In 2022, Kering had over 47,000 employees and revenue of €20.4 billion.
