Kendra Scott enters UK with shop-in-shop in Selfridges
US jewellery brand Kendra Scott is launching its first ever retail concept outside of the US at Selfridges.
Founded in Texas in 2002 by designer and philanthropist Kendra Scott, the company has since grown into a multi-million pound operation with over 2,000 employees and 75 stores. Its celebrity fans include the likes of Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Elisabeth Moss, Paris Hilton, Jessica Alba and Demi Lovato.
Opening in Selfridges just in time for Christmas, the shop-in-shop will feature the brand’s ‘Color Barä’ where customers can personalise necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings. First the jewellery category is selected, then the preferred style and stone. To complete personalisation, a metal finish is selected from gold, rose gold, rhodium, or gunmetal.
Pieces range from £50 for the brand’s signature Elisa necklace to £1,100 for unique full diamond necklaces.
Commenting on the UK expansion, Scott said: “This is such an exciting milestone in our journey and we cannot wait to meet our UK customers and welcome them into the Kendra Scott family. When I started this brand almost 16 years ago, I never could have imagined that one day I’d be opening in Selfridges. London is such an incredible epicentre of fashion and design and we’re thrilled to soon be part of this inspiring community.”
