John Lyttle takes over as chief executive of Boohoo
Online fashion retailer Boohoo has confirmed that its new chief executive John Lyttle has joined the business today.
Lyttle has spent the last eight years working as chief operating officer of Primark and has previously held senior roles at Matalan and Arcadia.
Boohoo said Lyttle’s appointment forms a key part of its strategy for the next stage of growth as former joint chief executives Mahmud Kamani and Carol Kane move over to the respective roles of group executive chairman and executive director.
As previously announced, Peter Williams has stepped down from his role as non-executive chairman with effect from today.
Boohoo is currently conducting a search for two new independent non-executive directors which it said is progressing well.
