John Lewis appoints new director of fashion
John Lewis has appointed Rachel Morgans as its new director of fashion.
With almost 30 years’ experience in the fashion industry, Morgans has previously held a range of senior roles at ASOS, Finery, Topman and Brown Thomas and has also worked in the home and lifestyle sector. She is currently consulting with Bath & Body Works and fashion startup, Yaw Studio.
Under the guidance of Kathleen Mitchell, John Lewis’ commercial director, Morgans will focus on further developing the retailer’s range of own-brand and branded fashion.
Mitchell said: “Rachel’s passion and expertise will be invaluable to John Lewis. She has extensive experience in design, innovation, and leadership within the fashion industry.
“We are thrilled to have her join us during this exciting time as we continue to enhance our fashion offerings and help our customers look and feel their best.”
Morgans will be taking up her new role in June.
