Joe Browns opens first outlet store

Online clothing retailer Joe Browns has opened its UK outlet store at the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Centre in York.

The store has been designed by creative agency Dalziel & Pow and follows the opening of the brand’s first ever physical store at Sheffield ‘s Meadowhall in 2017.

David Dalziel, creative director of Dalziel & Pow, said: “The new store in York is, if anything, more ambitious, more rich in detail, more confident and every bit as impactful. A simpler box, but full of character. It’s not often our clients are brave enough to make such a distinctive statement.“

The store aims to bring to life the fun and colourful nature of the brand in a bricks-and-mortar environment.

Simon Brown, founder and managing director of Joe Browns, said the store marks a next phase for the brand. He added: “We have a very loyal customer base in York and the surrounding areas, so it’s wonderful to be able to give our customers the physical space they’ve been longing for.”
