JD increases Chester presence

Sportswear retailer JD is expanding its presence in Chester with the opening of a bigger and improved store at the Broughton Shopping Park this weekend.

The new home for the store will offer a wider range of products from brands such as Nike, Adidas, The North Face and Under Armour.

JD is encouraging shoppers to head to the shop on the opening weekend to explore the new space where DJs will provide the “ultimate shopping soundtrack”. Customers will also be able to try their hand at the JD Batak game, where the shopper who hits the most buttons within an allotted timeframe will win a £50 JD voucher each day.

James Air, director – head of group acquisitions at JD, said: “Chester Broughton Shopping Park has been an extremely popular location for our customers ever since it first opened, and we are delighted to now be creating a brand new, larger store in partnership with our landlord, British Land. Our newly relocated store will be significantly larger than before and we are confident it will be more popular than ever.”
