Jan Van Leeuwen appointed to lead The North Face in EMEA
VF Corporation has promoted Jan Van Leeuwen to the position of The North Face’s vice president and general manager for the EMEA Region.
The role will see Van Leeuwen driving The North Face’s brand momentum and building on its 11 consecutive quarters of double-digit growth in the EMEA region.
Martino Scabbia Guerrini, group president of VF EMEA, said: “During his tenure with VF, Jan has demonstrated strong leadership and an ability to develop a thriving business. His extensive experience in the retail industry combined with his proven track record of business results make him the ideal person to lead our iconic The North Face brand in the EMEA region.”
Having joined VF Corporation in 2011, Van Leeuwen has held various roles with increasing responsibility for the Vans brand in the EMEA region where his most recent role was vice president, general manager. Prior to joining VF, he held senior leadership roles at Sole Technology, O’Neill and Nike.
