Jack Wills hires Claire Wain as chief financial officer
Lifestyle fashion brand Jack Wills has appointed Claire Wain as its chief financial officer.
With 18 years’ experience working in international retail and FMCG businesses, Wain most recently worked with fashion retailer Jigsaw, where she held the same role and was a board member covering the finance, supply chain, secretariat and legal functions. During her time there, she also led the refinancing and recapitalisation of the business under its new owner.
Prior to Jigsaw, Wain worked with Mothercare, where she was director of group finance, and the John Lewis Partnership, where she held various roles in planning, buying and merchandising finance.
In her new position, she will report directly to Suzanne Harlow, chief executive of Jack Wills. She will join the business in April.
Harlow said: “I am delighted that Claire will be joining us as CFO. She has an impressive background within the retail sector and I am looking forward to working with her as we continue to restore the business to profitable growth. This appointment is further evidence of Jack Wills strengthening its team to ensure we have the very best people taking us forward.”
