In The Style posts strong full year sales increase
Women’s fashion retailer In The Style has said its turnover for the year ending 31 March is expected to be no lower than £44.5 million, which would be a year-on-year increase of more than 130%.
New customers acquired during the year grew by 19% to 420,000 which the company attributed to growth in the appeal of the In The Style brand and its influencer partners.
Meanwhile, sales through In The Style’s proprietary app increased by more than 400% and accounted for 55% of sales in the period.
Due to the strong trading performance, the company has returned financial support previously claimed under the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme
After embarking on a new partnership with TV personality and influencer Stacey Solomon earlier this month, In The Style said her debut collection has been well received by customers. It has also signed a partnership with the Asda supermarket chain in which it will launch selected ranges in approximately 100 Asda stores in the first quarter of its new financial year.
Adam Frisby, chief executive and founder of In The Style, said: “We have maintained our strong momentum since our successful IPO and delivered a very good performance for the year. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank our partners, colleagues and customers for their continued support of the brand during what has been a transformational year for In The Style.
“Our collaboration model creates a strong customer connection, drives highly efficient customer acquisition marketing metrics, and gives us exposure to a broad range of customers. The success of this model has been highlighted since the year end by our exclusive partnership with Stacey Solomon.
“We look forward to building on this momentum into FY22 to deliver our growth plans and create further value to all stakeholders”
