In The Style benefits from strength of influencer collaboration model
In The Style’s sales climbed by 169% to £13.5 million in the 13 weeks to 31 December after the fashion retailer saw strong growth in new customer numbers.
The company said the performance was driven by increasing awareness of its brand and the strength of its influencer collaboration model. This included the running of a TV social media campaign during the Black Friday trading period where 11 different collections were launched in partnership with an In The Style influencer over a six-day period.
Sales through In the Style‘s app increased by more than 500% which meant more than half of the company’s online sales were completed through channel. In addition, sales through the company’s digital partners grew by more than 400%.
Adam Frisby, chief executive and founder of In The Style, said: “We are delighted to have delivered a very strong performance during the important golden quarter trading period, building on what has been a transformational year for In The Style. We have proven yet again the strengths of our innovative influencer model, deep customer understanding and our well invested infrastructure as well as the relevance and adaptability of our product proposition.”
