I Saw It First founder steps down following Frasers acquisition
Kamani has resigned as a director of the Manchester-based company after it was taken over by Frasers Group last month.
According to documents filed at Companies House, the founder Jalal Kamani, the brother of Boohoo co-founder Mahmud Kamani, has stepped down as the company’s director.
Others that have left also include Kamani’s sons Tayyab and Mustafa. Greg Pateras, who has only been in the role since November 2021 stays as CEO.
In addition, the retailer’s buying, merchandising and brand director Leanne Holmes has also stepped down.
Stephen Mucklow has been appointed administrator. It comes two months after he was appointed non-executive director of Lancashire-based Studio Retail Group, which was acquired by Frasers Group earlier this year.
I Saw It First was launched in 2015 in Dubai and launched in the UK in May 2017.
