Hugo Boss names Daniel Grieder as chief executive
Hugo Boss has appointed Daniel Grieder as its new chief executive for a period of five years.
He has also joined the fashion brand’s managing board.
Grieder previously worked with Tommy Hilfiger for more than twenty years where he was credited with the successful establishment of the brand in Europe. Following the integration of Tommy Hilfiger into the Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation, Grieder became chief executive and president of Tommy Hilfiger Global and PVH Europe in 2014.
Commenting on his new role, Grieder said: “I am thrilled to take over this exciting position today and to lead Hugo Boss into a successful future. The company, with its longstanding, unique tradition of shaping the fashion industry has impressed and inspired me throughout my career.
