H&M to open biggest UK store
H&M is to open its biggest store in the UK at the Westfield Stratford City shopping centre in London.
Due to launch on 21 April, the shop will be a relocation from the retailer’s current store at the centre and will also be one of the largest H&M stores in the world.
Situated over three floors and spanning 5,074 square metres of sales space, the Westfield Stratford City shop will offer H&M’s full range of fashion-forward collections. It will also stock the brand’s homeware and beauty ranges.
H&M’s country manager for UK & IE, Carlos Duarte, said: “H&M are delighted to be expanding in Westfield Stratford. The new store will become our largest in the UK & IE, as well as a global flagship store. Westfield Stratford gives the brand an exciting opportunity to showcase our entire fashion offering to both new and existing customers.”
Founded in Sweden in 1947, H&M opened its first UK store in 1976. The UK and Ireland portfolio now comprises in excess of 260 stores.
