H&M to launch new store concept in Hammersmith
H&M is to open a new concept store on the site of its existing shop in London’s Hammersmith next month.
The shop will have 2,300 square metres of selling space and feature a completely new look and feel as H&M looks to use the concept as a test for improving the customer experience.
Features will include stone flooring and greenery to create a covered courtyard feel and a striking wrought iron staircase connecting the store’s three floors.
H&M said the fashion assortment will be specifically tailored to the Hammersmith customers and will also include H&M Home products. In addition, the store will offer new services such as Repair & Remake where H&M Club customers will be able to have their H&M garments mended for free of charge. There will also be an embroidery service which will allow customers to have any eligible item embroidered from £3.
Situated in Kings Mall on King Street, the shop will open to customers at 4.30pm on 6 December and the first 200 customers in the queue will receive a goodie bag. Shoppers will also be given a 20% discount on all items, with this rising to 25% for H&M Club members.
