H&M & Rokh celebrate new collaboration with event at Dover Street Market
H&M and Rokh have been celebrating their new collaboration with a crowd of industry insiders at London’s Dover Street Market this week.
The event’s attendees included Awkwafina, Irina Shayk, Letitia Wright, Olivia Cooke and Jonathan Bailey, all of whom wore designs from the Rokh H&M collection.
The evening began with an intimate performance by members of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra that was inspired by Rok Hwang’s love of cinematic scores. Guests were also able to view an immersive installation by innovative set designer, Jabez Bartlett.
Later, the event included an exclusive DJ set by experimental musician Arca who wore a look from the collection.
Rok Hwang, creative director at Rokh, said: “Rokh stands for individuality, so it was great to have so many unique talents from the worlds of music, art and design contributing to this fantastic launch event for Rokh H&M.”
Spanning womenswear, menswear and accessories, the Rokh H&M collection has launched in selected stores and online.
Ann-Sofie Johansson, head of design womenswear and creative advisor at H&M, said: “Rok Hwang has a clever, creative approach to fashion, so it was fitting that his Rokh H&M collaboration was presented during an immersive evening where cutting-edge fashion combined with classical music and an inventive installation,”
