H&M re-opens Rue Lafayette store in Paris
High street fashion retailer H&M has re-opened its flagship store on Rue Lafayette in Paris after a revamp.
Set over five floors instead of the previous three, the shop carries fashion and homewares. It also features the retailer’s new H&M Take Care concept which aims to help customers take better care of their garments. The move is part of the retailer’s wider sustainability initiatives.
The concept is being launched in France after a successful pilot in Germany. It includes an inspirational hub of information on how to best care for clothes, shoes and accessories, and products such as laundry items, stain remover, repair patches, emergency repair kits, and sneaker wipes.
The new offering also has a services aspect with the H&M La Fayette store featuring a special H&M Take Care Area where shoppers can have their garments repaired or customised with embroidery.
