H&M opens largest UK store
High street fashion retailer H&M has opened its largest store in the UK and Ireland at the Westfield Stratford City shopping centre.
With a floor space spanning over 5,070 square metres, the new shop is also one of the biggest stores in H&M’s global portfolio.
Spread over three levels, the store will sell H&M’s full range of fashion items including ladieswear, menswear and childrenswear as well as home and beauty ranges.
Carlos Duarte, H&M’s country manager, said: “H&M are delighted to be expanding in Westfield Stratford City. The new store is not only the largest in the UK & IE, it is also one of H&M’s largest global flagships. This gives us an exciting opportunity to showcase our entire fashion offering to both new and existing customers.”
Founded in Sweden in 1947, H&M opened its first UK store in 1976. It now has a UK and Ireland portfolio of over 260 stores.
