H&M opens first Tunisian store

H&M has opened its first store in Tunisia at Centre Commercial in Tunis City.
The move will be followed by the launch of a second store in the country at Azur Mall in Tunis on 27 December.
Customers queuing on the opening day were entertained by a dance troop and were also handed H&M giveaways such as branded tote bags and notebooks. In addition, they were able to take advantage of a range of special opening offers inside the store.
Dan Nordstrom, H&M global head of franchise, said: “We are incredibly happy to open our first store in Tunisia. It is with great pleasure that we are able to bring fashion and quality at the best price, in a sustainable way, and inspire people to build their personal style with H&M.”
