H&M opens first store in Belarus
Fashion retailer H&M has opened its first store in Belarus.
Over 2,000 customers visited the shop for the grand opening. After queuing outside the store from 2pm on the previous day, the first customer received a gift card worth 300 BYN.
In the morning, H&M treated customers to coffee and entertainment from DJ Laurel and singer ZENA. In addition, staff performed the signature H&M opening dance.
Situated in Galleria Minsk, the store spans 1,757 square metres over two floors. The shop sells H&M’s clothing for women, men and children.
Saed El-Ashkar, H&M country manager in Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus, said: “We are very happy to open the first H&M store in Minsk! Now everyone in Minsk will have the opportunity to buy fashion and quality at the best price in a sustainable way in our new store.”
