H&M launches refurbished Merry Hill store

H&M has relaunched its refurbished store at Merry Hill as it looks to deliver an enhanced retail experience for customers in the West Midlands.

Spanning 26,000 square feet, the new space has enabled the fashion brand to expand its ranges which include womenswear, menswear and childrenswear. The store has also introduced new services including click and collect lockers, self-service checkouts, and garment collection and recycling.

Chris Clare, expansion manager for H&M UK & Ireland, said: “We’re super excited to share our new Merry Hill store with our West Midlands customers who will enjoy our amazing concepts and services. Our wide-ranging assortment and the introduction of Kids and Click and Collect means we are offering our customers more options than ever. We cannot wait to welcome our Merry Hill customers to the store today.”

2022 has been a strong year for Merry Hill which has seen over 170,000 square feet of new deals signed.

Alistair Winning, asset manager at Sovereign Centros, said: “Merry Hill has seen some significant investment this year, and it is a sign of strength that a brand of H&M’s calibre has chosen to recommit to the destination with this brilliant and extensive refurbishment. We work hard with our tenants to deliver an enhanced customer experience, as we create a distinctive retail and leisure environment that people want to come back to time and time again.”
