H&M collaborates with No Fear and The Skate Kitchen

High street fashion retailer H&M has collaborated on a collection with American skate and streetwear brand No Fear.

Founded in 1989 and reaching peak popularity in the 90s and early 2000s, No Fear was relaunched last month as it looks to take on a more female perspective. This will be achieved with the help of The Skate Kitchen, the New York-based all-female skate crew, who are co-creators and stars of the H&M campaign.

Due to go on sale from 14 October, the collection will feature oversized and bodycon silhouettes with striking graphic logos and illustrations.

The range of 23 garments will include a range of oversized T-shirts, crop tops, shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, knitwear, varsity jackets, tracksuits and joggers, as well as accessories such as bags, beanies, trainers, scarves and stickers.

While the main colour palette will include vibrant green, black and white, the co-created pieces with The Skate Kitchen will be in shades  of beige, khaki brown, green and washed black.

Emily Björkeheim, H&M’s head of Design Divided, said: “We’re thrilled to be collaborating with No Fear and partnering with The Skate Kitchen for this confident, empowering collection. The silhouettes balance oversized with tighter fits, all with a relaxed, unisex vibe, while the graphic logos and subtle varsity touches are key. We hope that young people around the world take the message of this collaboration to heart,”
