Hayley Menzies opens second London store
Fashion brand Hayley Menzies has opened a second London store in the Carnaby shopping district.
Situated at 8 Newburgh Street, the 640 square foot space showcases this season’s ready to wear offering, including the brand’s knitwear.
Andrew Price, executive director at Shaftesbury Capital added: “We’re delighted that Hayley Menzies has chosen Carnaby to be the home of her first West End boutique. The contemporary luxury brand is a great addition to Carnaby’s leading fashion offer and will complement the neighbouring independent brands on Newburgh Street.”
The shop’s interior has been inspired by Menzie’s lifelong passion for antiques, interiors and everything animal print. Featuring enormous 1970s Italian chandeliers set against natural distressed pine floor boards, the store has handpicked antiques on every available surface.
Hayley Menzies, creative director at Hayley Menzies, said: “Soho is my old stomping ground, and Carnaby especially is one of those places that everyone seems to remember fondly with a twinkle in their eye! It feels like the right fit for my brand, with its rock ‘n’ roll rebellious heritage and a place visited to discover innovative brands selling unique and exciting pieces.”
