Harvey Nichols to introduce childrenswear department

The Harvey Nichols department store is to launch a new luxury childrenswear offering online and its stores.

The range will include clothing for newborns up to teenagers. Items will be available to purchase online from 24 June and in the retailer’s Edinburgh, London, Leeds and Manchester stores from July.

Brands stocked will include the likes of Givenchy, Balmain, Chloe, Stella McCartney and Zimmermann. There will also be a range of streetwear and casual brands available including Moschino, Basicforkidz and Kenzo.

The offering will also include footwear from Axel Arigato, Golden Goose and Veja.

Laura Larbalestier, Harvey Nichols group fashion buying director, said: “We are really excited to be launching childrenswear at Harvey Nichols. This is a natural evolution for us and we are confident that the range of mini-me clothes from international brands including Balmain and Givenchy through to more contemporary labels such as Basicforkidz, will really resonate with out customers.”
