Hallhuber managing director stands down
The Gerry Weber fashion group has reported that it has “amicably agreed” with Norbert Steinke that he will stand down as managing director of the Hallhuber fashion chain.
Steinke had previously resigned from the managing board of the Gerry Weber Group for personal reasons with effect from 21 June 2017.
Ralf Weber, chief executive of Gerry Weber, said: “In his role as managing director, Norbert Steinke made a major contribution to the successful development of Hallhuber. We thank him very much for these achievements. We regret his departure and wish him all the best for his personal and professional future.”
Steinke said: “I wish my former fellow board members, Ralf Weber and Dr David Frink, every success in continuing the strategy we jointly developed. I am convinced that both Hallhuber and the Gerry Weber Group are well on the right track.”
Following, Steinke’s departure, Hallhuber will be managed by Richard Lohner who joined the brand’s management team in 2010. Rouven Angermann will provide additional support to the Hallhuber management team as an external consultant by taking care of Steinke’s former duties. Angermann has held various positions in the fashion industry for more than 20 years, including head of sales and retail at Street One.
Hallhuber operates over 376 retail spaces in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Norway, the UK, Switzerland and the Netherlands, and also has online shops in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the UK and France.
